Founded in 1994, the Illinois Women's Health Coalition (IWHC), convened and staffed by Health and Medicine, works to enlarge the capability of organizations and individuals to take an informed stand on women's health policy issues, and when appropriate, to act collectively to influence policy that has an impact on the health of women and girls.
